2019 Mercedes-Benz C200 AMG Line Estate

Amazing Cars and Drives Car Buyers Guide: Mercedes-Benz C200 AMG Line Estate Review

Up next in our car buyers guide is the Mercedes-Benz C200 AMG Line Estate Review. At Amazing Cars and Drives, we had the privilege of test-driving the new Mercedes-Benz C200 AMG Line Estate, and we are happy to say that it was certainly worth the wait. Here we have a luxurious and practical family vehicle that is as comfortable to sit in as it is relaxing to drive. What we love most about the C-Class Estate, however, is that is comes absolutely packed with high-tech features as a standard. Not only that, but this vehicle also comes available as a coupe, a saloon or even a drop-top cabriolet for those in search of something slightly more compact.

With the production of Mercedes C-Class Estate, it is immediately apparent that the manufacturer has invested much into ensuring that it competes with competing, sportier style cars such as the BMW 3 Series Touring and the Audi A4 Avant. And compete it certainly does – something Mercedes have achieved with the integration of MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) technology, which comes packed with its own huge range of safety, personalisation and assisted driving features. In this regard, Mercedes have taken the concept of an infotainment system to a whole new level.

This is united with a substantial 10.25 inch screen, which is upgradeable to an even larger 12.3 inch screen. Even without upgrading, the interior of the new C-Class Estate serious competes as one of the most futuristic and visually appealing cars presently on the market. All of this advanced technology is brought together with a luxurious dashboard that is finished with lack plastics, brushed aluminium and unfinished wood. Unfortunately, however, leather upholstery comes as an expensive upgrade on the C-Class Estate.

We took the C200 Line Estate for a test drive, and loved the smooth, yet powerful motoring experience granted by its large petrol engine and built-in electric motor. Indeed, despite its size, this car is remarkably fuel efficient and cheap to run, with several fuel economy features embedded within the vehicle.
